Every musical journey has a defining pulse.
For us, that pulse was struck in 2011. Born from a shared desire to bring the raw beauty of acoustic instruments and pristine vocal harmonies back to the absolute center of live performance, we named our project after a soulful Calabrian dialect phrase: "e'chera manera", meaning "in that specific way."
It is our declaration of intent: an unwavering commitment to authenticity, originality, and a distinctive, tailored way of translating emotion into sound.

Roots, Legends, and the Acoustic Remedy
The unique sonic signature of Akira Manera is rooted in a deep reverence for musical history. From the very beginning, the duo drew early inspiration from timeless legends and vocal pioneers like Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, and the great masters of folk, soul, and pop. It was this influence that guided the creation of their debut album, Acoustic Remedy (2013), not just a collection of tracks, but a manifesto of their ability to reimagine genres. By blending these international roots with a clean, refined Italian sensitivity, they have crafted an intimate yet powerful sound that bridges generations and cultures.
